Ashford, Kent.
A warm and inclusive Lodge for men of all ages in and around Ashford, built on friendship, family values and a genuine commitment to our local community.
About Us

Ashford Lodge No. 8945 is a friendly, welcoming and socially focused Lodge based at the Ashford Masonic Hall in North Street. Established in 1980 in the finest traditions of Freemasonry, we take pride in being an inclusive and vibrant Lodge dedicated to personal growth, fellowship, family-minded support and charitable work.
Our Membership and Ethos
Ashford Lodge brings together men of all ages and backgrounds from across the Ashford area. Our members come from a wide range of professions and life experiences, creating a warm, supportive environment where lasting friendships naturally develop. This mix of perspectives enriches our Lodge and helps ensure everyone feels part of a wider Masonic family.
We enjoy a healthy balance of newer and more experienced members, fostering a space where knowledge, confidence and experience are readily shared. Our members range from those in their late 20s to respected long standing members with decades of wisdom, giving the Lodge a blend of modern energy and established tradition. Above all, we value a family-friendly ethos, ensuring Freemasonry fits comfortably alongside home, work and family life.
Charitable Commitment
Charity sits at the heart of Ashford Lodge, and we’re proud of the difference our members help make in the local community. Through raffles, social events and the generosity of our members, we support both the Masonic Charitable Foundation
(MCF), where we are a Vice Patron, and a range of smaller local causes put forward by our members. This shared commitment allows us to make a genuine, positive impact throughout Ashford and the surrounding area.
Social Life
Freemasonry at Ashford Lodge extends well beyond our formal meetings. Our social committee organises regular opportunities for members, their families and friends to get together and enjoy good company. Events range from informal catch-ups and golf
days to organised outings such as our brewery tour, alongside family lunches, BBQs and our traditional evenings where we celebrate our friends and family. Whether you’re a new member or a visitor, you’ll find a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere waiting for you.
Lasting Friendships

Proud of our charitable achievements
Our members are very proud of their contribution to charity. Our fundraising through lodge raffles, social events and the generosity of individual members has earned us recognition by the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
Supporting our local community
When our members hear about a local good cause seeking help we do our best to support in whatever way we can.
